I loved it. I learnt a lot. Jordan is very knowledgeable and helpful. He spent some time speaking with the group and also had one-on-one time with everyone to help out with specific user errors. I still struggle with using my manual settings, so it was great to get help with this. He also gave some important tips regarding subjects and getting a more unique shot. I am looking forward to future meetups!!

    PHOTOGRAPHERS
    Jordan Hughes
Jordan's fascination with the art of photography took root in his high school years, where he immersed himself in capturing the essence of various school events. What began as a casual interest blossomed into an enduring passion, guiding Jordan through his university journey. During his academic pursuits, Jordan not only honed his photography skills but also delved into the dynamic world of graphic design, amplifying his creative fervour.

In his philosophy, a moment's true significance is unlocked when frozen in a photograph or translated into a well-crafted design. This conviction fuels Jordan's commitment to delivering the highest quality visuals to clients, enabling them to cherish and share life's special moments in a beautifully designed frame.

In the quiet stillness of the early morning, I captured this photo at Lake Albert in Wagga Wagga, a place renowned for its breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. The scene was serene, with a gentle hush enveloping the air. The sunrise painted the sky in stunning hues, its reflection shimmering on the tranquil waters and casting a golden glow that seemed to illuminate the world

I love exploring Toronto, where I've been living for a while now, with a camera, or more often just with a mobile phone. And looking for unusual angles. This place in the center of downtown on King Street always looks different depending on the weather, time of day, wind... This shot was taken along with 3000 others images on my first ever photo shoot during Covid. I hired a model I had seen and had come to do pool shots with another Photographer and he suggested I hire her and conceptualize the shoot. I?m not a professional and had no props but I bought some fabric and I used my leaf blower to make that effect. I periodically go back to those pictures and rework them with my iPhone apps for varying effects. You can see more of my work on Instagram. That day creat

Thank you for considering my photo for Photo of the Week! I have a number of bottle brush trees in my back yard, and birds love the blossoms when they bloom in the Spring. I usually see numerous hummingbirds and sparrows, but I saw this gorgeous bird one afternoon resting in the branches. I was able to get a couple of shots off before it flew away.
